Bem, depois de ter enviado seu CV e agendada a primeira entrevista com a agência, você deve começar a se preparar. Well, after sending your Resume and the first interview is scheduled you can start to get ready. Leia seu CV, saiba o que está escrito para poder dar respostas pertinentes ao entrevistador. Treine seu inglês pois a entrevista será toda em inglês, o entrevistador precisa checar seu nível. Read your Resume, keep in mind what is written in there so you can give proper answers to the interviewer. Practice your English because the interview will be in English, the interviewer needs to check your fluency. Durante a entrevista do entrevistador irá explicar tudo sobre a Compania que irá te indicar, e pode lhe pedir para fazer alguns cursos extras, para que você se dê bem na entrevista com a Compania. Se você tiver dúvidas sobre qualquer coisa, tire-as com o entrevistador, assim mais na frente você nao poderá culpar a agência por ter te passado informaçoes divergentes. Na entrevista geralmente irao ser questionadas as informaçoes que você colocar no seu CV, a fluência de seu inglês, porquê você quer trabalhar a bordo… e também eles irao te explicar como funciona a vida a bordo, salarios, carga horárias, etc etc etc. During the interview they will ask questions about your Resume, your English fluency, why do you want to go onboard, and so on… Also they’ll let you know about ship’s life, salaries, working times, and so on. Ao ser aprovado nessa etapa, a agência irá solicitar que você passe por uma palestra informative sobre vida a bordo, e tambem pode indicar alguns cursos para que você melhore sua experiência e aumente as chances de ser aprovado na entrevista final com a Compania. If you get approved on this step, the agency will ask you to attend an informative course about Life Onboard and also they can ask you go attend some extra courses to improve your experience and be able to pass on the last interview, with the Company. Como é a entrevista com a Compania? How is the interview with the Company? Após ser aprovado pela agência, você receberá um e-mail confirmando a data e local com a Compania. Esteja preparado, pois essa é a decisiva… eles irao te aprovar ou nao. After getting approved by the agency you’ll receive an e-mail with the date and place for the interview. Fique atento que ao ser aprovado, terá que providenciar exames medicos (que lhe serao solicitados pela agência), vistos C1D, o certificado STCW, etc. Porém nao faça nada até que você tenha sua data de embarque em maos, uma vez que tudo isso tem uma validade… e se estiver trabalhando, NAO PEÇA DEMISSAO até que esteja tudo arranjado e em suas maos. No mundo de cruzeiros datas de embarque sao alterados a toda hora, uma vez que eles acertam a rotaçao de acordo com a necessidade de tripulantes. Be aware that once you are approved you’ll have to arrange medical exams (the agency will request to you), C1D visas, STCW certificates and so on. But don’t do anything unless you have your embarkation date on hands, once all this documentations have expiration date… and if you are currently working somewhere DON’T QUIT YOUR JOB until everything is arranged. On the Cruise Lines World they change dates and ships all the time, once they do their rotation according to their needs.
